Evidence integrity

What TSP actually verifies: that the evidence is unchanged, complete and correctly signed.

Definition

Evidence integrity means the content is identical to what was sealed, the chain is intact, and the signature checks out. It does not mean the content is true, lawful or compliant — "verification is not truth".

Why it matters

The distinction guards against over-interpretation: TSP documents what happened, not whether what happened was right. The legal assessment remains with the DPO and legal advisers.
