LinkedIn sharing

What the integration does

Connecting your LinkedIn account to Academy lets you pull work experience and education from it, and share finished certificates straight to your network.

Connect

  1. Open LinkedIn in the menu
  2. Click "Connect to LinkedIn"
  3. Approve access at LinkedIn
  4. You are returned to Academy with the account connected

Import profile content

  1. Click "Import from LinkedIn"
  2. Review the preview of what will be pulled in
  3. Choose what to import — work experience, education or both
  4. Confirm the import

Always review the result in your profile afterwards; imported entries can be edited as usual.

Share a certificate

  1. Open the certificate under Certificates
  2. Click "Share on LinkedIn"
  3. Add your own message if you want one
  4. Confirm the share

Disconnect

  1. Open LinkedIn in the menu
  2. Click "Disconnect"

Imported content stays in your profile after disconnecting.

Pitfalls

  • Sharing and importing require a connected account — otherwise you are asked to connect first
  • If you cancel the approval at LinkedIn, nothing is connected
  • Academy pulls only what you approve, and never publishes without your confirmation
